Location
The Sayan Mountains in southern Siberia spanning northern Mongolia and southeastern Russia.
Description
Color is variable, but generally in summer it is some shade of yellowish or grayish-brown with a poorly visiable darker dorsal stripe. Winter coat is more of a monochromatic grayish-brown color. The horns of the Sayan Ibex are smaller than the ones of the Altai Ibex.
Habitat
Open, precipitous terrain at any altitude.
